JAMMU, Nov 30: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) XI defeated Bhadarwah Cricket Club by 4 wickets in the ongoing All India Unique T20 Cricket Championship at Country Cricket Ground, Gharota, here.
Batting first, Bhadarwah CC scored 119 runs in the stipulated overs, losing 6 wickets in the progress. Sohail (37) and Saleem (17) were the main contributors. For JKP, Harpreet and Rompy Sharma took 2 wickets each.
In reply, JKP chased the target in 17.2 overs by losing 6 wickets, thus won the match by 4 wickets. Harpreet and Pankaj contributed 23 and 17 runs in the winning cause. For Bhadarwah CC, Asif and Saleem shared one wicket each. Harpreet of JKP was adjudged man of the match for his all-round show.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and 76 Bn CRPF, under the overall supervision of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, patron YSCC Doda.
