Srinagar, Apr 20: The J&K Reconciliation Front (JKRF) led by Dr Sandeep Mawa today urged the Government to set up a fact-finding commission to look into the sufferings of common Kashmiri pandits as well as Muslims and fix the responsibility.
Dr Mawa also demanded that the RMSA teachers who are holding PhDs should also be regularized even when, he said, the Government was regularizing the daily wagers in different departments.
He told reporters on the sidelines of a protest demonstration held here and sought the fulfilment of his demands by April 24, failing which, he will carry out the self-immolation as a mark of protest.
“The Government has fulfilled two of my earlier demands, which include the start of judicial process against Bitta Karate as well as the process of identifying the separatist elements that have sneaked into the system, now, I have put forth two more demands which should be fulfilled by April 24,” Mawa said.
He said that the JKRF is demanding that those innocent people, be it Kashmiri Pandits or Kashmiri Muslims, whosoever has suffered at the hand of the system or the agents of Pakistan, should get justice.
“There is a need for setting up a commission to fix the responsibility. Fact finding report is needed. Blame game won’t work now,” he said.
