JAMMU, July 12: Arushi Kotwal of Jammu and Kashmir have won silver medal in Rapid Format of the ongoing Asian School Chess Championship in Under-17 girls category being held in Sri Lanka.
Total 454 players from 16 countries are participating in the 14th Asian School Chess Championship-2018 in 12 different age categories of boys and girls.
The main event of the tournament is going on which will be followed by blitz event, scheduled from July 15, 2018.
President All J&K Chess Association, Atul Kumar Gupta, along with other members of the Association and the officers of J&K State sports Council congratulated Arushi for her brilliant show in the event.
