JAMMU, Jan 5: Dhruv Seth from Jammu and Kashmir has been selected to represent India in the IHF Trophy Youth Category Continental Phase-Asia, which commenced today in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
A talented player from Arun Sharma Handball Academy, Dhruv trains under the guidance of Coach Bachan Dogra. His selection for the prestigious tournament is a significant achievement, reflecting his dedication and skill in handball.
The J&K Handball Association President, Narinder Mahajan and Senior Selector of the Handball Association of India (HAI), Ranjit Singh Chib, have praised Dhruv’s selection, acknowledging his hard work and commitment to the sport.
Before being selected for the Indian team, Dhruv participated in a 15-day coaching camp, where he received training from Coach Mohd Tauheed. Dhruv had previously represented India in the 10th Asian Men’s Youth Handball Championship held in Jordan last year.
