J&K’s Prinkle enters semis of AITA All India Ranking Tournament

JAMMU, Mar 31: Prinkle Singh lawn tennis player of Jammu and Kashmir entered the finals of the AITA All India Ranking Tournament in under-18 girls section at Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association Sector-10, Chandigarh.
Prinkle, top seed in the tournaments defeated Ashpreet Bajwa of Punjab in the semifinal by (6-4 6-4), while in quarterfinals, Pinkle defeated Lenien Jamie of Assam by (6-0, 6-2).
In earlier matches in pre-quarterfinal, Prinkle Singh defeated Mohapatra Punyatoya of West Bengal by (6-1, 6-0).
Earlier, in the first round, Prinkle defeated Prinkya Jhakhar of Haryana by (6-4,6-1).
In doubles, under-18 girls, Prinkle and Panwar Variti of Delhi also reached final.
Earlier, in doubles semifinal, the duo defeated Prabheet Saroan and Khusbeen Kaur of Punjab by (6-2 , 6-2).
