J&K’s Prinkle wins twin titles in AITA National Series Tournament

JAMMU, Jan 11: J&K player Prinkle Singh and a trainee of CLTA won both singles and doubles U-14 titles at AITA National Series Tournament, New Delhi.
Prinkle won the final against Shivani Amineni of Hyderabad by 6-1 and 6-1 points in a one sided match.
In first round Prinkle Singh beat Kuhoo Atrai of Uttarakhand by 6-0 and 6-0 and in second round, Prinkle Singh defeated Anjum Mubashira Shaik of Andhra Pradesh by 6-0 and 6-1.
In quarterfinal, Prinkle Singh smashed Tanisha Kashyap of Assam by 6-1 and 6-3 points, whereas in semifinal,  Prinkle Singh beat  Shreya Gulia of Delhi by 6-2 and 6-4 points.
In final, Prinkle Singh crushed Shivani Amineni of Andhra Pradesh by 6-1 and 6-1 points.
Prinkle had won the doubles title yesterday. Prinkle Singh and Shivani Amineni defeated Sanya Singh and Mubashira Anjum Shaik by 6-1 and 6-3 points.
