J&K’s Prinkle wins U-18 Super Series Tennis title

JAMMU, Sept 15: Prinkle Singh, ace Lawn Tennis player of Jammu and Kashmir today bagged Under -18 Super Series title, sponsored by Shivalik Public School-CLTA Chandigarh at CLTA Lawn Tennis Stadium, Sector -10 Chandigarh.
Prinkle Singh top seed  of tournament won the title  by defeating Senthil Kumar Sudipti of Maharashtra in straight sets by 6-2 6-4.
Earlier in semifinal, quarterfinal, pre-quarterfinal and first round, Prinkle Singh defeated Himanshika of Chandigarh in straight sets by 6-2, 6-3,  Pritam Singh of Punjab in straight sets by 6-1, 7-5,  Himadri Kashyap of Gujarat in straight sets by 6-2 6-3 and Sri Ram Deepshika of Karnatka by 6-1, 6-1 repectively.
It is third consecutive title win for Prinkle Singh in two months period.
Earlier, in July-August, she won Championship Series Under-18 and Women 50K title at Chandigarh.
