J&K’s Roopali imparts coaching at ZCA, to coach BCCI’s inter-zonal matches

JAMMU, June 10: Lecturer Physical Education and BCCI’s Level-II Cricket Coach, Roopali Slathia who has the distinction of Captaining J&K Women Cricket team playing for the State for over 12 years, has been given assignment of Coaching by the BCCI for the upcoming ZCA inter-zonal matches scheduled to be held at Guntoor in Andhara Pradesh from tomorrow, after her successful journey at Zonal Cricket Academy recently.
Roopali has the honour of attending India Camp more than once. She became coach after doing diploma in cricket at NIS Patiala in 2006 and qualified the first ever BCCI Level-A coaching course for women at NCA Bangalore in 2008.
She qualified the BCCI Level B exams in 2009 and took her first assignment as coach of Indian team for a camp at NCA Bangalore during her internship.
Now, she is assigned ZCA camps of under-19 years girls almost every year.
