JAMMU, Dec 17: Waseem Raja Khan, General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association was elected Joint Secretary of the Softball Association of India (SBAI) during the Special General Body Meeting to elect office bearers and members of managing committee for the 2024-2028 term.
Ramesh Mendola was elected President, Dr. Pravin Anaokar as Secretary General, and Santosh Chauhan as Treasurer. Khan has played a pivotal role in reviving Softball in Jammu and Kashmir and is committed to furthering the sport. “The new role adds responsibility, and I will work relentlessly to promote Softball in every part of Jammu and Kashmir,” said Khan. He emphasized the need to nurture local talent at the grassroots level to help them excel on national and international platforms.
