JAMMU, Sept 27: A delegation of J&K Speed Ball Association (JKSBA) today called on Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Province, Shantmanu, here at his residence and presented him a letter regarding his inclusion in the State Association of Speedball as a patron.
The delegation said the vision behind the inclusion of Shantmanu as patron in the association is to encouraging students to channelize their energies into a positive and constructive manner.
Anil Nanda, president of the association, Pawan Kumar, media incharge, Jyoti Gupta and Sevita Sethi, both board members and Sunny Nanda, general secretary, were part of the delegation.
The Divisional Commiss-ioner expressed happiness in joining the association. Some of the best players of Jammu province also accompanied the delegation and briefed him about the different parts of the game.
The Divisional Commis-sioner assured the delegation that he would extend every possible help required for the upcoming State Speedball Championship.
