JAMMU, July 9: With great excitement and vigour, the second day of the football players selection trials, which are being conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC), resumed at the Mini Stadium Parade Ground, here today.
International players Ricky Kumar, Nitti Thappa, Rameez Malik, Arpita Majahan, Arun Jasrotia, and Amardeep Singh are among the experienced mentors leading the trials from all the districts.
After a rigorous selection process, 26 girls have been shortlisted for the third day of trials, while 40 boys have been selected for the final day of trials. The mentors are impressed with the talent and dedication displayed by the young footballers.
The trials are being organized under the supervision of Satpal Singh, Manager of the Mini Stadium Parade Ground Jammu, who has ensured a smooth and fair selection process.
