JAMMU, Jan 2: Four Member J&K Sports Council Employees Welfare Committee (JKSCEWC), led by President Rajan Sharma called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar at Civil Secretariat here today and raised several demands.
The delegation expressed gratitude for Infrastructure development and youth engagement in Sports, highlighting significant achievements with youth securing medals nationally and internationally.
As per the statement, they brought to the Advisor’s notice the challenges faced by retirees and also lauded efforts of the Government for creation of Pension Fund by ensuring social security. The committee urged the Government to release pensions to address financial difficulties of retired employees. The statement said that the Advisor gave patient hearing to the issues. The other Members of the Employees Welfare Committee were Nazir Ahmed and Ashok Singh, former Divisional Sports officer, Jammu.
