NEW DELHI, Nov 10: National Legal Services Day and Commendation Ceremony of best District Legal Services Authority and best Para Legal Volunteer at National and Regional Level was organized by National Legal Services Authority here yesterday.
The awards for Best DLSA and Best PLV at Regional Level and National Level were given. Gulshan Ara, Para Legal Volunteer of District Legal Services Authority, Srinagar of J&K State who was earlier recommended by J&K State Legal Services Authority under the patronage of Justice N. Paul Vasanthakumar, Chief Justice and Patron-in-Chief of J&K SLSA and guidance of Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Executive Chairman J&K SLSA was declared as Best PARA Legal Volunteer of Northern Region and awarded the Trophy by the Justice T S Thakur, Chief Justice of India and Patron-in-Chief, NALSA in the presence of Justice J S Khehar, Judge Supreme Court of India and Chairman, SCLSC, Justice Dipak Misra, Justice S A Bobde, Judges of Supreme Court of India and Justice G Rohini, Justice Navin Sinha, CJ’s of High Courts of Delhi and Rajasthan respectively and the Member Secretaries of State Legal Services Authorities of SLSAs.
