JAMMU, Nov 4: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria to discuss the burning and long pending issues of the teaching community.
The meet demanded conducting of much awaited DPC of Teacher to Master which has not been held since February 2014 causing frustration among the teachers due to such a long spell of stagnation.
JKTF also demanded release of ATD- 2022 after considering the genuine claims of Teachers and Masters working in far-flung areas for the last so many years, transition of Teachers Grade-II and Grade-III, framing of clear cut transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under RET scheme, adjustment of all the promotee Headmasters and Lecturers in different subjects at an earliest and regularisation of all cadres pending since long.
JKTF announced that further course of action shall be decided in the next meeting, which will be held at Green Belt Park Gandhi Nagar on 6th of November.
