JAMMU, May 19: JK Thinkers Forum (JKTF) today warned the Government to launch an agitation if ration slips to Kashmiri Pandit (KP) migrants are not supplied at the earliest.
The issue was discussed in detail by the Forum in its meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Kuldeep Pandita. The meeting was attended by young leaders and activists of the community who deliberated seriously on the issue of delay made in the distribution of ration slips to the relief holders.
While speaking on the occasion, Kuldeep Pandita said that JKTF has always advocated for reconciliation and re-approachment but Government seems to be non-serious about the vital issue of return of KPs.
He further said that how can this Government ensure the honourable and dignified return when they have failed to feed the migrants and deprived them of ration slips, which is a human right violation.
“The concerned ministry must look into the matter and ensure that fundamental right of the citizens remains secure”, he asserted.
Among those who participated in the meeting were Kuldeep Kangan, Kuku, Veer, ML Raina, Sushil Raina, Dilip Sadhu, Shuhul Raina, Anirudh Koul and Ravinder Koul.
