JKTJAC delegation calls on DSEJ, highlights various issues

JAMMU, Oct 17: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), under the leadership of UT President Vinod Sharma, called on Director School Education Jammu Ashok Sharma to draw his attention towards genuine issues related to Teachers.
The Association demanded issuance of Conversion order to RRETs as Teachers Grade II/III, regularisation of ReTs whose files are lying in DSEJ office, conversion of EVs to ReTs, provision of Earned Leave in favour of teachers engaged during summer/winter vacation for summer/winter camps and for other duties, release of salary in favour of RRETs/ReTs who have not been transited into Teachers Grade II/III due to various reasons, issuance of 2nd list of DPC from Teachers to Masters and resumption of mutual transfer cases of Teachers Grade II/III
The Director, after listening to the deputation quite patiently, issued on the spot directions to the divisional level committee to clear all eligible files of Teacher Grade-II/III by the end of this month. He also informed the deputation that the verification of service particulars of 1800 to 2000 teachers will be completed by coming Saturday for DPC. He also directed the dealing committee of mutual transfers to complete all formalities of applied cases in a week to release transfer in one go. He fully assured to redress each and every issue raised by JKTJAC leadership at the earliest.
Others, who were part of the deputation, included Surjit Singh, Sham Sharma, Balwan Singh, Khazana Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Mohinder Partap Singh, Mohit Jamwal, Naseer Bhat, Ganesh Kumar, Daleep Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Mushtaq Ahmed and Shabir Ahmed.
