JKTJAC demands salary release to NPS employees

JAMMU, Nov 2: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) here today submitted memorandums to LG through respective District Development Commissioners at all the district headquarters demanding release of pending two month salary of NPS employees mostly of education department.
The memorandums were submitted by respective district presidents (DPs) of JKTJAC in presence of other senior leaders.
After submitting memorandum JKTJAC president, Vinod Sharma said, it is a matter of concern that thousands of NPS employees are without salary for last two months and they are suffering badly during the festive seasons.
He appealed to the LG administration to intervene into the matter so that families of these employees may not suffer.
Sharma demanded immediate release of salaries to NPS employees before Diwali otherwise these employees will be forced to protest for the same.
The memorandums were submitted at district headquarters by JKTJAC J&K president, Vinod Sharma; general secretary, Najam Jafri; provincial president, Rajesh Jamwal, Manzoor Khan, DP Rajouri, Lekh Raj Parihar, DP Udhampur, Sajad Malik, DP Doda, Hari Lal Nag, DP Ramban, Rakesh Singh, DP Kathua, Arvind Sharma, chief advisor, Mahesh Kumar, spokesperson, Balwan Singh, DP Reasi, Ravinder Singh, Subash Chander, Sham Sharma and others.
