JAMMU, May 23: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Parmodh Kapahi today started road blacktopping work here at Bhagwati Nagar in Ward 14.
A handout stated that the work is being executed by Public Works Department in presence of AEE, JE and contractor.
Later, Kapahi along with AEE and JE visited Ward 14 and its adjoining localities where the locals raised various demands like construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of main roads as well as interior lanes etc. Kapahi assured them that all their genuine demands will be redressed in a time-bound manner.
The Councillor said that blacktopping and renovation of the road is in progress so as to prevent any inconvenience to the people of the Ward.
