JMC pays tributes to its deceased Councillors

JAMMU, Apr 9: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) here today paid rich tributes to its Councillors—Vijay Chowdhary of Ward 42 and Raj Rani of Ward 45, who passed away this month after brief illness.
The obituary function was held at general house meeting of the Corporation wherein JMC Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma and many Councillors paid floral tributes to the deceased Councillors and lauded their role in developmental works done by them in their Wards.
In the beginning, Rajni Bala of Congress said that both the deceased ladies were very helpful and always displayed maturity in their behavior.
Similar were the views of Gurmeet Kour Randhawa, Jeet Angral, Surinder Chowdhary, Pawan Singh, Prof Yudhvir Singh and many other JMC Councillors who lauded the services of their deceased colleagues.
They said that void left by the two Councillors will never be filled and prayed to God for peace to the departed souls in heaven and courage to the bereaved families to bear this irrecoverable loss.
