JAMMU, Apr 30: Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) chairman Shuja Zaffar has appealed the Lt Governor to order health department to address the miseries of people with non-COVID diseases and conditions.
Patients with non-COVID health problems are facing immense hardship and people are not getting health care for other problems. Zaffar said patients with acute illness who regularly needs to see doctors could not visit hospitals due to the perception that hospitals are closed for all non-COVID patients.
He said there are patients with heart attacks, strokes, abdominal conditions like appendicitis and need emergency surgeries and medical care. Zaffar appealed the authorities to come up with a solution for taking care of non-COVID patients, particularly belonging to below poverty line.
