JAMMU, Aug 31: The football team of Jodhamal School performed very well and emerged champion in the recently held District Level Inter-School Football Tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
A total of 22 teams participated in the Tournament.
The team comprised of Devesh Sharma, Jagjyot Singh, Paarth Johri, Subrat Sharma, Eshaan Gupta, Prerak Bist (Captain), Anirudh Thakur, Shivam Kaith, Akshat Gupta, Nikunj Rakesh, Anindhya Mahajan, Ali Afridi, Ahmed Ziya, Banpreet Singh, Hardik Aggarwal, Hardik Gupta, Rudraksh Sharma, Sahil Atri (Vice Captain) and Aryan Katal. The team was coached by Balwinder Kumar.
In the finals, Jodhamal defeated MHAC Nagbani via tie-breaker.
The Principal of the School, Trilok Singh Bist congratulated the coach and the team members for their brilliant performance.
