Jodhamal organises function to elect council

JAMMU, Oct 21: Jodhamal Public School held a function to elect its prefect council for the session 2022-23, wherein JP Singh, former Inspector General was the chief guest, here today.
Nandan Kuthiala, Director, Arati Kuthiala, Principal, Dr Deep Khare, Vice Principal, Shefali Sanwal and the parents of the prefect council members were escorted into the Hall by the NCC candidates.
The event commenced with a welcome song sung by the School choir. Thereafter, Mubeen Butt, CCA Coordinator-Senior Wing introduced the council members as Parthi Gupta ( Head Girl), Karmanya Wahi (Head Boy), Prachi Motiyal (Dy Head Girl), Lakshav Singh Sambyal (Dy Head Boy), Asmi Mahajan and Danishveer Singh ( Academic prefects), Suhani Sharma, Akshat Dogra and Ayaan Malhotra (CCA prefects), Nandita Mehta, Ciya Gupta and Aditya Abrol (Sports prefect), Aanya Anand and Medansh Thusoo (Eco prefects), Adhya Sharma and Atin Wazir (Discipline prefect).
The house prefects were also introduced including Nishtha Anand and Mukul Dev for challenge house, Asfee Khan and Harshal Chawla for discovery house, Vinisha Barala and Fozan Rahi for enterprise house, Amishi Mahajan and Joshua Thomas Johnson for invention house; the neutral vice prefects were Mitashi Arora, Anirudh Mahajan, Maahira Sharma, Naman Sharma, Manasvi Singh, Anish Arora, Sarish Jain, Shubham Singh Jaral, Prajna Gupta and Mrigank Chadha, while the house prefects were Vanshika Gupta, Dewang Gupta, Akshdeep Kaur, Tushar Gupta, Vironika Rajput, Dikshit Gupta, Livanya Mehta and Eklavya Mahajan.
The Principal read the charter of duty and responsibility. The prefect council took the oath and pledged to accept and uphold the responsibilities and duties mentioned in the charter.
The chief guest honoured the prefect members with sashes and badges, along with School management. The house prefects were felicitated by their house masters. The spirit of the event was lifted by the valuable words of the chief guest and Nandan Kuthiala, the trustee of the School.
