JAMMU, Aug 20: In a recently held function, Jodhamal School felicitated its International and National Level winners, here today.
Rajesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion.
The felicitation function began with the IAYP International Award for Young People (Duke of Edinburgh Award).
Six students namely Subhagya Pargal, Devansh Suri, Kritika Chopra, Manik Sharma, Sayali Verma and Simran Kaur Rainu were the proud achievers of God Award after successfully completing their third level.
12 students were awarded silver medals and 7 of the young students were given bronze.
The winner of the silver medals were Mohd Shaheryar, Mir, Reejuta Mahajan, Arpita Salgotra, Runjhum Gupta, Shivangi Abrol, Simran Gupta, Raghav Chowdhary, Chirayu Surana, Areeba Seikh, Amritash Sharma, Aditi Sharma, Ullas Mahajan, Tanya Duggal and the winner of bronze medal are Shoab Rafiq Khan, Harleen Kour Raina, Stuti Kuthiala, Prerak Bist, Ridham Pawar, Varinika Gupta and Ayushi Atri.
Shallu Sharma, the national trainer of IAYP participated in the training for the trainers’ workshop at Alwar and was rewarded with the National Trainer Certificate.
Ansh Gupta of class 8th, Aditi Sharma of class 7th, Kanwarpal Singh Sudan of class 6th clinched 3 gold and Nikunj Langer of class 5th bagged 1 bronze at International Level in Asian Matsogi-Do-Championship, which was held in Kathmandu in the month of June. The teacher escort, Vishal Samrat brought laurels to School by winning a gold medal in Black Belt Section.
In the State Swimming Competition, Young swimmers of JMPS won 17 medals and 10 students would be participating in the School Nationals in November. The students felicitated were Stuti Kuthiala, Saba Jamwal, Ashmita Sharma, Nabhya Saraf, Bhavya Bhushan, Daksh Sharma, Mehak Trehan, Dhaireya Choudhary, Keshav Shikarpuria. The team was coached by Balwinder Kumar, Pooja Bassan and Ashi Jamwal.
