JAMMU, Oct 4: Jodhamal Public School organized a solemn programme for its Junior School students, featuring distinguished guests, including chief guest Hemant Kumar, IAS (Retd.), guest of honour S M Sahni, and special guest Sanjeev Verma.
The event began with the lighting of a sacred lamp, accompanied by the Gayatri Mantra and a motivational song performed by the Junior Choir Group. A total of 44 students were honored with badges and sashes, signifying their various roles within the Prefect Council. Principal Girish Kumar administered the oath of allegiance, reinforcing the commitment of the Prefects to uphold the school’s values.
In his address, Kumar highlighted the significance of integrity and responsible decision-making in leadership. He encouraged students to actively embrace their roles and urged parents to provide supportive environments for their children’s growth.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from newly inducted Head Girl Maneha Areej Bhat, followed by the National Anthem, marking a momentous occasion as the school community welcomed its new leaders.
