Jodhamal School lifts coveted Nano Nagle Trophy

JAMMU, Apr 30: Students of Jodhamal School  proved their debating skills once again by winning the coveted Nano Nagle Trophy, here.
The Debate held at Presentation Convent is an annual feature  to pay tribute to the Nano Nagle the founder of the Convent at Jammu. A prayer dance was performed by the budding artists of Presentation Convent to pay the loving tribute to their Nano Nagle and after which the debate on the Topic ” Reforms in Indian Higher Education System would Lessen Brain Drain from India” saw ten elite schools of Jammu pitch in against each other to showcase their oratory skills.
Speaking against the topic Shivang Puri of Jadhamal Bagged the second prize whereas Akanksha Sharma won the third prize and together they lifted the coveted Trophy home for the second year in a row.
Akanksha Sharma of Jodhamal speaking for the motion convinced everyone of her view point with full confidence.
Radhika Sharma, HoD English along with the Coordinators Santosh Dogra and Nandani Bakshi prepared the students.
Principal Trilok Singh Bist not only lauded the efforts of the students but of the teachers too since it is always true that team work leads to success.
