JAMMU, Aug 23: Jodhamal Public School swimmers brought laurels to the institution by winning 8 gold, 22 silver and 3 bronze medals in the just concluded Inter-School girls and boys swimming competition, here.
The gold medal winners included Abhishek Abrol, Sabha Jamwal, Stuti Kuthiala and Hardik Khajuria, while silver medal went to B Satvik, Ashmita Sahni, Daksh Sharma, Keshav, Saiyam Suri, Nandini Mehta, Bhavya Bhushan, Nabhya Saraf and Vishesh and bronze medal was claimed by Ashmita Sahni, Mehak Trehan, Ayush Khajuria and Bhavya Bhushan.
The swimmers also clinched as many as 6 gold and 4 silver in the Inter-District Swimming Competition. 3 gold medals were won by Stuti Kuthiala and 1 each by Hardik Khajuria, Vishesh Jamwal and Abhishek Abrol and 2 silver medals were bagged by Nabhya and 1 each by Abhishek Abrol and Ashmita Sahni.
The management and the School Principal lauded the efforts of players and coaches Pooja Bassan and Balwinder.
