Jodhamal School wins Inter-School Football C’ship

JAMMU, Nov 9: The Football teams, both Girls and Boys (Under-17) of Jodhamal School emerged victorious in an Inter-School Football Championship organized at Birla Open Mind School, Jammu.
The closely contested matches witnessed nail-biting moments in which both the teams. Jodhamal School performed brilliantly and won all the matches with a convincing margin.
In the battle of strength, stamina and skills, the Jodhamal teams displayed outstanding team-spirit and sportsmanship on and off the ground. It is pertinent to mention here that the grounds of Jodhamal have produced some remarkable soccer players who have represented Jammu and Kashmir at the National Level and brought laurels to the Union Territory.
Girls team members were Samayra (Captain & Goalkeeper), Anvesha, Pranya, Devisha, Riti, Arshia, Anahita, Shereen, Mantasha, Iksha, Chhettan, Ridhima, Mughda, Gurasees, Prachi and Abiha. While in Boys team members were Kushagar (Captain), Arav Mahajan (Goalkeeper), Anish, Devansh, Advitya, Mohd. Ferhaan, Mohd. Arslan, Suhaan, Rajvir, Katikey, Akshit, Shrey, Rajanya, Akul, Almaan, Arav Binathia and Karman Singh. The Jodhamal teams were trained by Coach Romesh Chander.
Meanwhile, Jammu Sanskriti School girls football team clinched the runner-up trophy in the tournamnet.
