Jodhamal skaters shine at 62nd National Roller Skating C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 19: The skaters of Jodhamal Public School have shown exceptional performance at the 62nd National Roller Skating Championship 2024, clinching a total of 10 medals. The remarkable achievement makes Jodhamal one of the few schools in the North Zone to secure double-digit medals.
The Jodhamal contingent, comprising 32 talented skaters across various age groups, put up a stellar performance, winning medals in multiple categories. The gold medal winners were Dhruv Sadotra, Namish Gupta, Aahan Sharma, and Aamyaa Vashishth. Silver medals were secured by Gurjas Singh, Shawni Mahajan, Ayraa Vashishth, and Tabish Haider Chib in the Speed Event. Czia Raina and Aarohi Mahajan won bronze medals in their respective events.
Under the guidance of coaches Kamal Anand and Ritish at the Jodhamal Skating Rink, the athletes showcased remarkable technical skills and unwavering determination. Principal Girish Kumar and Vice Principal Amita Arora expressed their pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting the importance of discipline, talent and world-class coaching in reaching such heights.
