JAMMU, June 14: In a feat of rare accomplishment, 77 Jodhamal students have authored more than 130 books. These 77 students were inspired by their predecessors who were 47 in number, thus raising the tally of Jodhamal Student-authors to 124.
The number is still counting as many ‘word-wizards’ are joining the bandwagon as book-writing has already become a popular and much sought-after pursuit with the students of this prominent school of Jammu city. Many of these young writers have been published by the mainstream publication houses.
With these students having got the platform to show their creativity in content-creation, many young students at Jodhamal are following suit and getting motivated to write books.
The School carefully nurtures these budding authors to ensure that they take up writing as their full-time pursuit and inspire their generation to drift away from the ‘screen-led virtual world’ to the ‘world of words and books’.
