Jodhamal students shine at DSMUN Conference

JAMMU, Aug 20: Students of Jodhamal Public School (JPS) excelled in 10th Annual Doon School Model United Conference (DSMUN) Conference at Dehradun.
The JPS sent their delegation comprising 13 delegates to the Conference, escorted by Bhawna (Faculty Advisor) and Irfan Choudhary (teacher).
Jodhamal delegation was the sole delegation from Jammu and Kashmir for the DSMUN Conference in which the delegates were engaged with 13 diverse committees from the regional to the international agendas covering a range of time periods.
Many reputed schools like The Indian High School, Dubai, Welham Boy School, Dehradun, Welham Girls School, Dehradun, Rato Bangla School, Nepal, Navrachna International School, Vadodara, Modern School Vasant Vihar, Delhi, Mayo College Girls, Ajmer, The British School, Delhi, The Gems Modern Academy, Dubai and Unison World School participated in the Conference.
The delegates Harsimar Kaur and Nimisha Shukla won the best delegates in the respective committees. Shrija Jhinkwan, Vidhur Kumar and Dhvani Gupta won the honourable mention and Kshitij Sethi and Gunjan Singh won the verbal commendation.
The other delegates like Mudabbir Latifi, Muhamad Raza, Dravin Mahajan, Razeen Haneef, Dhairya Choudhary, Vasu Sharma were highly appreciated by the faculty advisor of DSMUN.
On the achievement of the students, Principal Trilok Singh Bist felicitated the students in a special assembly wherein they shared their experience.
