JAMMU, Sept 9: In the recently concluded State Swimming Competition, the young swimmers of Jodhamal School brought accolades and gave their best ever performance in the various events in the championship. Team Jodhamal clinched 3 Gold, 6 Silvers and 2 Bronze medals in this championship. Hardik Khajuria bagged the Bronze in 50 Mtr Breast Stroke, Vishesh Jamwal clinched the Silver Medal for 50 Mtr Back Stroke, Nabhya Saraf clinched a Silver Medal for the 50 Mtr Free Style Swimming, Stuti Kuthiala proved to be the star performer by clinching both the gold medals for the 50 Mtr Free Style and the 100 Mtr Free Style, Mehak also clinched a Silver in 50 Mtr Breast Stroke and a Bronze in 50 Mtr Free Style, Ashmita won Silver in 50 Mtr Back Stroke, Saba Jamwal also clinched two medals, one Gold and one Silver in 50 Mtr Free Style and 100 Mtr Free Style respectively and she had been admired by one and all present there; Abhishek won a Silver in 50 Mtr Free Style. The Competition was organized by the District Youth Services and Sports, Jammu.
The medal winners were felicitated in a special assembly in the school by the School Principal, Mr Trilok Singh Bist.
