JAMMU, Aug 7: The students of Jodhamal Public School (JPS) secured the first position at the Sahodaya Inter-School Classical Dance competition held at Army Public School, Jammu Cantt today.
The competition, in which more than 200 students from 35 teams from the prominent schools of Jammu participated, was organized under the aegis of Sahodaya Complex, Jammu Chapter.
The Jodhamal dance troupe included; Manya Vikram Randawa, Vriti Sharma, Aachal Kour Preet, Jigisha Thussu, Aabha Sharma, Aayati Sharma, Nandini Sharma and Seerat Kour. They performed a Kathak Dance.
The students were bestowed with gold medals and certificates while the school bagged a memento for this achievement. Teacher-mentors who prepared the students were Shruti Sharma and Aadi Sharma. Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee, Arati Kuthiala, Director, Girish Kumar, Principal and Shefali Sanwal, Vice Principal appreciated the winners and the teachers in-charge.
