JAMMU, Dec 11: The 19th Annual Day of the junior wing was celebrated in the school campus here today. The theme of the Annual Day was “The Quantum Leap”, which indicated the whole journey of evolution of education from Papyrus to tablet.
Piyush Singla, Secretary Revenue, J&K Government was the chief guest and Shridhar Patil, DIG Traffic, Jammu was the guest of honour. The other dignitaries who attended the programme were Yasha Mudgal, Commissioner, Secretary, Cooperative Department, J&K, Bhupinder Kumar, Secretary to the Government Health and Medical Education, J&K and Prithpal Singh, DIG.
School Principal Girish Kumar read out the annual report for the session 2022- 23.The Chief Guest in his address mentioned that he was exhilarated to see the beautiful blend of various art forms. He appreciated Jodhamal Public School for being the trail blazer that has achieved many educational feats not only in the city but also on the national and international Canvas.
Furthermore the event shed light on the monumental changes brought in by the pandemic, highlighting the swift adaptation from traditional classrooms to the realm of online learning. The advent of National Education Policy (NEP) emerged as a beacon of change offering a more conducive and less burdensome curriculum alleviating the academic pressure on the students.
It is worth mentioning that there was a participation of more than 600 students on/off stage in this exquisite show. The main awards were received by the house in-charges, Head Boy, Girl and the Academic and CCA prefects of the junior wing. The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Junior School Head Girl Maanya Vikram Randhawa.
