Competing against top teams from across the country, these students showcased exceptional talent and engineering prowess.
Team Apex, comprising Daanial Butt, Aarit Malhotra, Ekaj Mangotra, Kunwar Ranbir Singh, and Varchas Vishal, emerged as the standout performers. They won the Knockout Championship, the Fastest Car Award, and set the ‘Overall Championship’ record. This impressive victory secured their place in the prestigious Aramco F1 in Schools 2024 World Finals, to be held in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, this November. Their success was guided by mentor Neetu Johri.
Team Marlin, featuring Akshar Bhasin, Aamay Gupta, Siddhi Vinayak, Avyukt Mahajan, Parmeet Singh, Abhiraj Suryavanshi, and Adhvik Mahajan, alongside Team Spartan’s members Vanshaj Sharma, Mehrab Singh, Rajveer Bhalla, Madhvendra Naad, and Adeen Rizvan, also demonstrated remarkable skill, earning the Resource and Development Award and high national rankings.
The F1 in Schools competition, inspired by real-world Formula 1 motorsport, challenges students to design and manufacture miniature working F1 car models. This prestigious event attracts school teams nationwide, highlighting their engineering and project management skills.
Jodhamal Public School, the only ‘STEM’ approved school in Jammu and Kashmir, has been a leader in promoting STEM education. Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and Principal Girish Kumar appreciated the teams, emphasizing the importance of such advanced, hands-on learning experiences beyond traditional academics, and wished them success in the upcoming World Finals.
