SRINAGAR : Joint secretary (Kashmir Affairs) Ministry of Home Affairs R K Srivastava todsy discussed internal security management, cross Line of Control (LoC) trade with Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra. Mr Srivastava called on Mr Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today, an official spokesman said.
He said issues pertaining to Internal Security management, Cross LoC Trade and preparations for the ensuing Shri Amarnath Yatra-2014 were discussed. Earlier in the day he held a meeting with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rakesh Kumar Gupta, and other senior Security Forces officers to discuss the security arrangements being made for the Amarnath Yatra, commencing from Baltal route from June 28.
Decision to allow pilgrimage from traditional Pahalgam route will be taken on June 30 as the entire track is under several feet of snow.
