JP World School organizes Sahodaya Inter School English Debate

JAMMU, Aug 31: To enhance the ability of logical analysis, expression and enable the students to express thoughts in logical manner and overcome stage phobia, JP World School organized Sahodaya Inter School English Debate Competition for middle school students wherein 27 leading CBSE schools of Jammu, Akhnoor and Kathua took part.
The participants debated on the topic “Peer Pressure is a Boon”.
Sunny Dua, senior journalist, Pooja Wazir, Senior Manager of J&K Housing Board, Sanjay Gupta,  District Informatics Officer and Shakeel Ahmed, senior Lawyer were the members of the jury.
Ashok Singh Manhas, Managing Trustee of JP World School was the chief guest who inaugurated the debate by lighting the lamp.
Areesha, class 7th of APS Akhnoor emerged as winner whereas Pritha Sharma, class 7th of DCM Akhnoor and Ananya, class 8th of Stephen International School notched 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Principal of the host school, Jitinder Singh Hundal lauded the efforts of the students for their performances.
