Udhampur, Feb 19: Udhampur District Kabaddi Association, under the banner of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association organized Junior District Kabaddi Tournament for Boys & Girls, which got underway at Mini Stadium, here today.
Over 28 teams from various Government, private institutions & Clubs of Udhampur are participating in the Tournament.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur S. Gurvinderjeet Singh was the Chief Guest and Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary ACD Udhampur was guest of honour, other special guests were Mohit Gupta Tehsildar Udhampur and Mohd Salim Naib Tehsildar.
Earlier, Sheikh Tanveer, President Udhampur District Kabaddi Association presented welcome address and assured the guests and the participants that such event will be organized on regular basis.
The matches were officiated by Ashwani Sharma, Ravi Singh, Sanjay Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Naveen Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Pushp Sharma, Vipin Photra, Sourabh Pandit, Ravi Kumar & Ram Kumar (all officials from DYSS Udhampur).
