JAMMU, Apr 23: Junior Hockey Tournament, organized by Bandurakh Hockey Club, commenced at Bandurakh Stadium, here today.
The first match was played between AKS Club and Society for Sports which was won by Society for Sports by 5-4, wherein Jorawar Singh (President Akhil Bhartiya Khel Parishad) was the chief guest, while 2nd match was played between Bandurakh Hockey Club and Zorawar Hockey Club which was won by Bandurakh Hockey Club by 6 goals to 3, in which the chief guest of this match was Manmeet Singh (Chairman Ranjit Education Group).
The 3rd match was played between Hiranagar Hockey Club and MBS Simbal in which Hiranagar emerged winners by 3 goals to 2. The chief guest of the match was Jaswant Singh (Member Bandurakh Hockey Club) and in the 4th match Dashmesh Club beat Khalsa Club by 5 goals to 3.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel including Gurjeet Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Tarandeep Singh and Prabhjot Singh.
Man of the match awards were given to Harjit Singh (Player of Society for Sports), Kirandeep Singh (Bandurakh Hockey Club), Vivek (Hiranagar Hockey Club) and Sajan (Dashmesh Club), which were sponsored by Rehat Sports Kunjwani.
