KATHUA, Oct 9: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated its much-awaited kindergarten Sports Day ‘Khilkhilata Bachpan’ for classes Pre-nursery to Pre-primary with great fervor and exhilaration.
Sona Gupta, Assistant Commissioner of Enforcement, State Taxes Department, Kathua was chief guest while guest of honour was Anna Jamwal, Tehsildar Headquarters to DC Kathua. Sonakshi Anand, Director Operations Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu, Harleen Anand, Director Operations, Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua and Tarmeet Kour, Administrator, JSS Jammu, Mili R Sumbria, Principal, JSS Kathua were present as special guests.
An energetic Aerobics display set the tone for the rest of the event. The Karate demonstration displaying aggression and discipline was a feast for the eyes. The highlight of the sports day was the splendid field drills involving mass students participating in events such as Ribbon drill, Zumba dance, Circle drill, and Umbrella drill, etc.
Sona Gupta appreciated the Management, Principal, faculty, and students of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua family for making sports an integral part of the curriculum. Preeti (Deputy Coordinator) Pre-primary wing extended her heartfelt gratitude to each one for extending their benign presence and endless cooperation towards making the event a success.
