JSS outshines in ‘Feel the Beat’

JAMMU, Oct 10: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu outshined in inter-school dance competition ‘Feel the Beat’, organised by Honey Goswamia-a well acclaimed personality in the field of dance at Polytechnic College, here today.
In this event 5 schools and different dance institutes participated from different regions. Sanskritians brought laurels to the School by bagging positions in different forms of dance including 1st prize in folk dance, 2nd prize in classical dance and 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in solo dance in different categories.
In solo dance, there were 45 students and Sanskritians namely Sannidhi from 4th got 1st prize in sub junior category, while Samrat from 2nd claimed second prize in junior category and Sargam from 4th clinched third prize in sub junior category.
The competition was adjudicated by renowned choreographers namely Manik, Isha Jain and Sukhvinder Singh.
Kavinder Gupta (former Deputy Chief Minister) and Priya Sethi (former Minister) were the chief guests of the event. The folk dance was mentored by Monika and classical dance was synchronized by Sabha.
Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice Chairperson JSS) congratulated the students and their mentors.
