JAMMU, May 5: A deputation of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita and discussed the problems of displaced people with him .
Pandita said that State and Central Governments have failed to solve the problems and demanded that the distress sale be declared null and void.
He said the Government should issue an order in this regard immediately.
He also reiterated a separate township demand for Pandits settlement in Valley besides reservation of one Parliament seat and 10 Assembly seats for the KPs in Kashmir.
Rattan Lal Bhat, Rajinder Dhar, Sanjay Pandita, Inderji Labroo, Sunil Raina, M L Akhoon, S L Tickoo and others were present in the delegation.
