JAMMU, Mar 7: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting here today while accusing the political parties for their callous attitude towards the displaced Pandits has demanded political reservation for it being a miniscule minority.
The meeting, which was chaired by president of the organization Shadi Lal Pandita demanded reservation of one Lok Sabha, one Rajya Sabha seat for the community, besides some seats in State Assembly and Legislative Council to give representation to it in the law making bodies.
The meeting also demanded implementation of PM package, removal of encroachments, constitution of Shrine Board and free water, power supply to migrants and construction of more quarters.
