JAMMU, Feb 14: Nove Soan Kashmir Front and Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita has criticized the authorities for non payment of relief and ration and demanded that the same be supplied at an earliest.
Pandita said instead of releasing the relief of February in advance in view of Maha Shivratri festival the authorities have not even paid the relief of January month.
He warned agitation in case the relief and ration was not disbursed within this week.
Meanwhile relief holders representative Sunil Pandita has expressed concern over withholding of sugar quota to migrants for last seven months and demanded that the same be restored immediately.
He said the discriminatory attitude of the Government towards the migrants has generated a lot of resentment in the community and warned agitation in case the ration and relief supply is not made smooth.
