JAMMU, Apr 13: The prestigious Trotterrz Cup 2025 Golf Tournament was held at Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC), organised by Veteran Golf Trotterz under the guidance of Yasha Mudgal, Commissioner Secretary to Government, Tourism Department. The tournament was inaugurated with the ceremonial tee-off by Shailendra Kumar, Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture, Parks & Gardens, accompanied by Manav Gupta, Secretary JTGC.
A total of 83 golfers participated in the day-long event. Kritin Gandotra emerged as the overall winner of the tournament, while Arindham Sudan was declared runner-up. Other notable winners included S.S. Sayal for the straight drive at Hole No. 18, Col. A.K. Roy for the longest drive, and Maj. Gen. Dhillon for closest to the pin at Hole No. 2.
Lt. Col. PVVS Sudheer, Brig. Balbir Singh, Col. Ramesh Chander, Chandra Gupta, Ajay and Sukhjinder Jaspal were among those who stood out for their exceptional performance in various categories. Raman Pargotra, Rohit Bhalla, J.S. Manocha, Dinesh Chopra, and Bala Jyoti were the respective runner-ups.
Sports Minister Satish Sharma presented the trophies and mementoes to the winners alongside Secretary Jammu Tawi Golf Course, Manav Gupta. He stressed the need to promote tourism through such sporting events. Capt. Jaideep Mandody, organiser of the tournament was also appreciated for the event’s smooth execution.
