JU conducts Canadian Test for BP Ed Course

JAMMU, July 18 :The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education conducted the Physical Fitness Test/Canadian Test for the applicants who had applied and qualified Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) – 2012 for the admission to B P Ed Course, here today.
A total 68 candidates had applied for the test after qualifying the written examination JUET–2012, with 43 male and 25 females but only 27candidates could qualify the Physical Fitness/Canadian Test, with 16 male and 11females.
According to a press statement issued here, the final list as per the merit shall be displayed on July 23, 2012.
Meanwhile, all the candidates who had appeared and qualified the Test have been advised to liaison with the Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education for further information.
The test was conducted in presence of the Dean Students Welfare, Prof NK Tripathi and Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, Prof Dhian S Bhau, while Romesh Sharma, Physical Training Instructor (PTI), JU Campus, was convener and Dr Sonam Angchok was the coordinator of the examination.
Serveshwar Dubey, Security Officer, University of Jammu looked after all the security arrangements for the test.
Prominent among other present were Dr Brij Baloria, Ramesh Magotra, PD Singh, Jai Bharat, Raj Kumar, Vikram Jamwal and Sanjeev Jamwal.
