JAMMU, Jan 3: University of Jammu defeated Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi by 4 wickets to register their 6th win in the ongoing All India Vice Chancellor’s Cup-2023 held at Nagpur University Maharashtra and entered into quarter finals.
After batting first, Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi got all out at the score of 117 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Rajesh, Shantul, Amin took two wickets each and Karan took one wicket for the University of Jammu team.
Chasing the low total, University of Jammu chased the score in 18 overs by the loss of six wickets. Sandeep Bakshi scored 49 not out, Shantul 28 and Amin 12 runs. For Jamia Milia, Freed and Adeel took two wickets while Sarfaraz, Akhlakh took 1 wicket each. Shantul was declared as man of the match.
