JAMMU, Feb 20: Representing University of Jammu in the All India Inter-University Judo (M&W) Championship 2013-14 at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, ace judoka, Sheran Mirza was declared second in the championship to clinch silver medal in under-90 kg category.
Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu complimented Sheran Mirza in the presence of Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu; Jai Kumar, Special Secretary to Vice-Chancellor; Sunil Sahi, president of JUNTEU; Vikas Dogra Coach and Akhilesh Sharma, Liaison Officer.
