JAMMU, Sept 20: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education at the University of Jammu organized an Intramural competition for B.P. Ed and M.P. Ed students at the Basketball Court.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director of the Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief guest and engaged with the students alongside faculty members, including Dr. Mandeep Singh and Vimal Kishore.
In his address, Dr. Daud congratulated the organizers for providing an opportunity for students to showcase their sports talents and foster camaraderie. He highlighted the importance of such events in preparing students for Inter-College and Inter-University competitions, emphasizing that sports instill discipline, togetherness, and a positive channel for students’ energy.
The results of the basketball matches were as follows: the Gold Medal was awarded to M.P. Ed – 3rd Semester, the Silver Medal to M.P. Ed – 1st Semester, and the Bronze Medal to B.P. Ed – 1st Semester.
