JAMMU, Sept 29: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, organized an Inter-Collegiate Yoga (M&W) Championship at its Gymnasium Hall, here today.
The competition in the men’s section was not held because two institutions only reported for the competition, while the competition in the women section was organized in which players from 4 institutions participated .
Nisha Kumari of GCW Gandhi Nagar won the gold medal whereas silver and bronze medals went to Roshni Devi and Nageena of GCW Gandhi Nagar, respectively.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director Sports and Physical Education was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who awarded medals among the winners in presence of Sumnesh Sharma, Suman Lata, Romesh Sharma & Vikas Karlopia.
The panel of Judges were Harsimran Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Mukesh Sharma, Harinder pal Singh and P.D Singh.
