LUDHIANA, Nov 10: University of Jammu in its second league match defeated G.B. Pant University by 6 wickets at Ludhiana in Punjab, today.
G.B. Pant University, batting first scored 122 runs for six in its stipulated 20 overs. For Jammu University Daud Iqbal took 2 wickets and Pawan Singh  and Sumit took 1 wicket each. University of Jammu convincingly chased the target in 16.3 overs with Vishal Sudan scoring 34 runs. Amongst the other scorers Ameet Targotra scored 24 runs, Niranjan Scored 17 runs and Daud chipped in with 13 runs. Vishal Sudan was adjudged as man of the match for his unbeaten 34 runs.
Jammu University Team Manager Sham Lal Sharma, Assistant Manager Vikas Langer and Pawan Singh, President, JUNTEU congratulated the team for this convincing win.
University of Jammu will meet Punjab University Chandigarh in its next league match on November  12, 2016.
